Are there certain imperfections in your smile you just can't ignore? They may not affect the functionality of your smile, but they certainly get in the way of your quality of life. You're probably self-conscious about it and therefore find yourself trying to cover up instead of stand out.
It's been proven that the appearance of your smile directly impacts the way we act in public and certain situations. For instance, a recent study by the American Dental Association reveals that 38% of adults between the ages of 18 and 34 are apprehensive about smiling because of the condition of
their teeth. In addition, 28% struggle to go in for a job interview because of their mouth.
At Aesthetic Dental Designs, we always provide patients with exceptional cosmetic care so they can lift the veil from their smile, so to speak. One of the most effective ways Dr. Todd Snyder makes smile flaws a thing of the past is with teeth bonding.
Teeth Bonding can help you disguise...
· misshaped teeth
· unevenly spaced teeth
· small gaps between teeth
· visible stains
· chips and cracks in tooth enamel.
How does teeth bonding get you a perfect smile? Once we've had a consultation and determined that this cosmetic procedure is right for you, Dr. Todd Snyder will apply his artistic and clinical skills to reshape and restore one tooth, or several teeth, that require attention. In this painless process, we use strong composite resins (plastics) to make your teeth look as good as new. With our extreme attention to detail, we will color match the bonding material to the rest of your smile.
At this point, you're probably wondering how long you'll be in the dental chair for teeth bonding. While we can't give you a definitive answer without an in-person consultation, we can tell you it varies from case to case. But if you need bonding on several teeth, you may have treatment over the course of several appointments.
How to care for your smile after your teeth bonding procedure is over...In order to prevent any damage to the bond, you should avoid certain habits (right after you've been to us and long into the future!); a couple of which include biting your nails and using your teeth to open packages, bobby pins, etc. (And no party tricks... Your teeth should never be a bottle opener!)
For the first few days, it's also best to abstain from drinks and products that can stain the resin used in teeth bonding. Tea, coffee, cigarettes, and chewing tobacco are all on the do-not-consume list.
Bonding from the best...When you put your cosmetic care in the hands of Dr. Snyder, a Laguna Niguel, OC dentist, you can rest assured that you'll be overjoyed by your results.
